Morty's Cafe will serve great food sourced from local ingredients, in an inviting dining space, right next to a college campus.
What is Morty's Cafe?
Morty's Cafe will be the answer to "Where is Cache Valley's best quick-serve burger?" Not only will Morty's Cafe offer a great dining experience, but it will also provide a service to Utah State University students, walking to and from classes: a health-conscious, grab-and-go meal.
In visiting other university campuses, the two founders of Morty's Cafe recognized many of them had small commercial areas just outside of campus. Culture and commerce flourished in these little pockets. Independently owned pubs, restaurants, and cafes provide a unique experience.
Utah State University is an inspiringly beautiful campus, but it has lacked this aspect of campus life. Morty's Cafe will change that. Our menu will consist of items made from local ingredients to create a unique experience and will include hamburgers, fries, salads, coffees, and baked goods. The third-floor, rooftop balcony will provide a truly awesome view of the valley. Patrons will be free to eat their food on the balcony while they take in the view.
Your Support
The balcony will also feature live music and small private parties can be held here. The last missing piece to our venture is a comfortable and classy dining area to help make this place a little extra special.
We decided to include a friend of ours and pay him to help us design and build these dining area amenities. We need support in this last capstone project for Morty's to not only be a success, but to truly add something special to the area and to the community.
