July Memories!

Last month was full of celebration and lots of fireworks! At the beginning of the month we celebrated Independence Day! This is a day in which we come together to celebrate our history, our freedom and the traditions of The United States of America with barbecues, fireworks, parades, carnivals and picnics, as well as, other various celebratory activities.

The food truck remained busy through July! Many families gathered together to celebrate throughout the month. We loved seeing everyone together having a good time at the parades, firework shows, picnics and more!

On July 24, we celebrated a well-known holiday amongst Utah citizens called Pioneer Day! This is a day to honor Mormon pioneers who were forced out of their homes in Nauvoo, Illinois and traveled by foot to find sanctuary in Salt Lake City, Utah. Like many who celebrate this holiday, Cache Valley provided a parade for it's community which included a parade of handcarts! Various Cache Valley citizens registered to participate in this event by helping to pull the handcarts through the parade! If you were there to celebrate, you probably saw the Morty's Cafe Food Truck as well!

We are grateful for the events we were able to attend and participate in! We live in a great community that encourages everyone to celebrate events together!
