Morty's Burger Cafe Launches a Kickstarter Campaign to Involve Community

New Fast-Casual Restaurant Opens in Cache Valley Next to University Campus

LOGAN, Utah—Morty's Burger Cafe invites the community to be involved in a Kickstarter campaign which launches 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Mar. 18, 2014. At that time, Morty's will hold a launch party at the location on the corner of Darwin Ave. and Aggie Bull-evard. All are invited. Morty's will be the closest, independently owned, eating establishment to Utah State University's campus.

“We're excited to bring a cool place to eat so close to campus,” said co-owner Ty Mortensen. “We invite everyone to get involved with spreading the word and participating in our online discussions.”

Morty's will offer a simple menu of fresh grab-and-go items including burgers, fries, shakes, salads, coffees, hot chocolates, sodas, whole produce items, and simple breakfast items (muffins, bagels, donuts, breads, rolls).

Customers can enjoy a beautiful view of Cache Valley from the main glass-enclosed dining area, the outdoor European-style parklet with tables and chairs under trees, and the third-floor open-sky balcony.

In line with its philosophy of providing a health-conscious menu and supporting local enterprises, Morty's is partnering with several local providers including Parker Produce, Crumb Brothers Bread, Theurer's Quality Meats, Gossner's Cheese Factory, and Caffe Ibis.
